Highland Genetics Needs Your Help

In today’s Highland world the go-to way to measure good genetics is if they won a show or produced winning progeny. Often, this only includes the one picture you have of that bull that meets your liking. While this is a helpful start, there is so much more to finding the right combination, and then once you do find the right combo acquiring the semen or embryos.

At Highland Genetics, we want to increase the pool of data available from our bulls or embryos, so we can help you make the most informed decision about the best genetics. We specifically track our animals to provide you the best options, and you can be confident in what you are getting.

Data

Data

If you email us a screen shot or provide the information of the birth weights, yearling weight, and docility measurements being keyed into AHCA when you register your calves, or then we will reward you. Send us the same information for your cattle, which were born from semen or embryos you purchased from Highland Genetics, and we will give you a $5 discount on your next purchase of semen or embryos over $350.00 for your next breeding season. Discounts are applied at $5 per offspring’s information you provide to us.

Once you send the information, we will give you a one-time use code you can use on your next purchase. The discount does not apply to shipping and tax, and can only be used one time. However, that’s not to say you can’t do it again the next year and get another discount. The more you send in your information the more accurate the data will be and the more you can make better decisions in the future.

Pictures

Not only do we like to track data, but as the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words.  If you send us a picture of your calves at the weigh in times, and we decide to use it on our website or marketing in any way.  We will send you a $5.00 credit for each picture.  How great is that?  And who doesn’t like taking pictures of your little wonders?  Of course, you do provide us the right to use your pictures for anything in the future. But how great is that to say, “Yep that’s mine.”
