This "Husker" born and raised bull was the 2013 NWSS Reserve National Champion. He is sired by Black Watch Emmett, the 2004 NWSS Reserve Champion Bull. Emmett has had a large influence on the breed with over 120 registered progeny. Elijah's dam, HSC Scarlett, descends from both Canadian and USA champions. She was sired by Landelly's Cody, the 2007 NWSS Grand Champion Bull and out of a DuBoise Lecoq/Dianna of Kiyiwana cow. Diana is one of the most influential Highland cows in history, Cody is well-known for throwing highlights in his offspring and DuBoise Lecoq was a royal Canadian Champion Sire in the early 2000's. Elijah is a great choice if you are looking to put some tried and true genetics back onto the map!
Elijah's calves average a birth weight around 70lbs, are very correct, and can compete in the show or in the pasture.
