Highland Genetics Auction Terms Spring Fling Sale 4/11/2026

Bidding:

All bidding is final; it is the bidder's responsibility to ensure the bidding amounts are correct.

The winning bidder will receive an invoice indicating your purchase.

Highland genetics will send an invoice via email to the winning bidder within 2 hours.  The winning bidder must pay the invoice via ACH.  Credit cards can be used for a 4% convenience, upon request. The full auction amount must be received in full within three (3) business days. No animals can transport until paid for.

Any invoices not paid within three (3) business days are subject to a 10% late fee, if paid with seven (7) business days.  Any items not paid for within seven (7) business days, will be considered forfeited and the winning bidder will be assessed a 25% restocking fee.

Buyer must arrange pickup or shipping to take place within 10 days of the end of the auction.  After 10 days, Windland Flats or the seller will assess a daily boarding or storage fee of $10 per day per lot, unless agreed upon separately.

Sale and purchase of animal is between the buyer and the seller who consigned to the sale. Highland Genetics is not responsible for any misrepresented information of the animal. It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure all information stated is accurate and correct from the consigner.

All lots in the sale are sold on an "as-is" basis. Highland Genetics is not responsible for the animal and does not provide livestock insurance on sold animal but can offer you references to look into

Seller Responsibility

Highland Genetics will provide seller with all buyer information after sale is final. It is the seller's responsibility to communicate with buyer after the sale.  Seller should not release cattle until Highland Genetics has verified payment.

A veterinarian will be onsite to provide a health certificates for the transport of any animals out of the state of Minn. Any tests required by a specific state for entry (i.e. Blue Tongue, Tuberculosis, Anaplasmosis, Brucellosis) are the responsibility of the buyer.  Animals' offsite are the responsibility of the seller. 

Highland Genetics is responsible for transferring all AHCA registered animals to the new owner within seven days of the animal's shipping date that were onsite.  Offsite animals are the responsibility of the seller.

Seller should not release items to buyer until Highland Genetics has verified that full payment has been made and has informed the seller.

Seller is responsible to care for animals or to store items, up until the time the buyer has picked up the purchased items, or up to 10 days after the auction.  

Animals sold to Canada will be assessed a $600 USD export fee to cover international health certificate and paperwork as well as a $10/day boarding fee after day 10.

Any announcements made on sale day supersede any other information.
