She consistently produces moderate to larger framed heifers that we adore, we just can't keep them all. WL Nina is sired by WL Genesis, a silver bull by the Scottish Import, Angus the 8th of Dunvegan, and out the extensively shown Black Watch Portia. This isn't our first Britta x Genesis Cross and we just love the results. WL Nina is a prime candidate to be your next best brood cow.Â

Color: Yellow
DOB: 4/21/2023

Wow, Wow, and WOW! WL Myrtle has the pedigree, confirmation, and demeanor to be your next top producer! Sired by the old-school white bull, GOF Broadstone 13B. Broadstone consistently produces long, well muscled cattle that have also became show champions. It's hard to find a dam better then WL Jewel. Jewel is out Summit Ranch Shaelyn, the 2007 NWSS Champion Female. Jewel is a full sibling to STR Enchanted (3-TIME NWSS Champion Female & Producer of NWSS Champions) AND Summit Ranch Whitney (2012 NWSS Champion Female & Producer of NWSS Champions). Myrtle is simply a beautiful blend of Jewel & Broadstone, but we really love Myrtle's docility. Over the last year she has been shown by a young junior showman, participated in costume contests, and famous TikTok trends! WL Myrtle will also be 2 years old in the spring and ready to breed to the bull of your choosing.Â

Color: Yellow
DOB: 4/10/2024

THICK THICK THICK! This young bull is wide, deep, has a strong hip, thick top-line, and sound legs. A true testament to genetics that exhibit growth. WL Niven hails from royal and truly Scottish genetics. His dam, WL Hail to the Queen, is a smaller framed cow with a power-packed pedigree straight from the Queen's Castle. (Rioghail of Balmoral) "Queen" is also a half-sib to STR Armageddon, the 2020 NWSS Reserve Champion Bull. On the top side of Niven's pedigree are the Scottish genetics of WL Genesis. Genesis is sired by the Scottish Import, Angus the 8th of Dunvegan. We expect Niven to mature into a medium frame size with a lot of substance and mass. While he is yellow, he is stating to show some brindling in his color. WL Niven is structurally correct and has a unique combination of top-notch genetics from around the world. Making this easy-going bull calf a great outcross sire for a wide variety of cows.Â

The VERY FIRST public offering of Philip of Glengorm Progeny in North America! WL Nitty Gritty is a picture-perfect example of how Philip (a U.K Imported Bull) stamps his calves with that Scottish "look". Philip of Glengorm is the first import from the legendary Glengorm Castle since Jock of Glengorm over 40 years ago. His dam, WL Kandi, is a daughter of WL Genesis, a silver bull who is making a household name for himself. Nitty Gritty is halter broke and easy to handle. He and his dam (WL Kandi) won Grand Champion Highland Cow/Calf Pair at the Mille Lacs County Fair this summer. And with good reason, his dam is powerful, yet feminine with a lot of shape and eye appeal. Nitty Gritty is extremely clean in the shoulder, well balanced, and has the kind of demeanor dreams are made of. Through Genesis came Noah. Just take a look at this young bull! We've seen this type of quality bull calf before, and that calf was his sire, WL Genesis, who needs no introduction. Noah has been a standout in the pasture since the day he hit the ground, and it's not just because he's in that high-demand silver color. Noah stands straight and wide, walks like a cat, and has all the power and mass you could ask for in a young bull. His dam, CBS Jade 13Y is a farm-favorite, broody shaped cow that outdoes herself with every calf she makes. Noah is no different. His Pedigree speaks perfection, it's packed with Scottish Imports, NWSS Champion Producers, and Renowned farm names across the United States. You'll want to watch the video on this one! We truly believe Noah will be the next "Big Thing". You will look long, far, and wide to find another like WL Noah.Â

CBS Jade 13Y x STR Encore:
CBS Jade 13Y is a wide cow with a lot of depth and mass. Sired by LEA Denovan Adam (Who is by DH Montgomery) and out of SVH Springvale's Jass. DH genetics are hard to come by these days and are known for passing on their high muscling in the hip and topline throughout generations of cattle. Jade's maternal side goes back to the great Jock of Glengorm along with other well-known DH genetics. Jade is a great mother and about as gentle as they come. Her calves are growthy, have won in the show ring, and have a lot of muscle mass and stride. One of her sons, CBS Jameson, produced the 2022 NWSS Reserve Champion Cow, CBS Jazzy. Between her pedigree, confirmation, and rich dun color, Jade's offspring will perform very well in anyone's program. Find more information on Jade's lineage and offspring Here
Your 2023 National AHCA Champion Bull. STR Encore weighed 1,822lbs with a ribeye of 18.3 inches at the show in January 2023.  He is long, extremely wide, and absolutely correct.  Plus, this Athletic bull walks like a cat, absolutely correct in every movement.  His scrotal circumference is 43 cm (Feb 2022).  He is the full brother of STR Revolution, a NWSS National Champion Bull.  His mother is a three-time NWSS National Champion Female, STR Enchanted.  His father is STR Ruthless Game, who was a NWSS National Champion Bull and whose sire was a Australian National Champion.   Wow, can you pack more powerful genetics into an animal!  To top it off, this Brindle boy is cool, calm, and collected on halter and loves to be brushed.  He brings the whole package on what you want to have when selecting a bull.  This is not only an outstanding Highland bull, but an outstanding bull, no matter what breed. Find more information about Encore's Lineage and Offspring Here Champions are built on the foundation of quality genetics. This is the kind of cross that will move the breed forward.Â

Schon Boden's Lydia x Philip of Glengorm:
Schon Boden's Lydia is quickly becoming farm favorite around here. Sired by Buckwheat of Gurholt and out of Schon Boden's Claire, Lydia is a paternal sister to Highland Genetics famous donor cow, Schon Boden's Josie. Like Josie, Lydia has those highly sought after "Schon Boden's" qualities. At 12 years old she still sports her larger frame beautifully along with having great feet and a good udder. Lydia is long, wide, square, docile, and is a prime example of what longevity should look like in a highly productive cow. Find more lineage and progeny information about Lydia Here
Philip of Glengorm is also a newer addition to Highland Genetics. In 2023 we partnered with Glengorm Castle and imported Philip's genetics to the United States. Philip of Glengorm is the very first direct import from Glengorm Castle since Jock of Glengorm over 40 years ago. Philip is staple to the breed. Structurally correct with lots of depth and an athletic stride. Sired by Philip of Richmond Hill and out of Sheila Mor 12th of Glengorm. These 2 are outstanding examples of the quality genetics Glengorm is known for producing. Glengorm females are made to cover a lot of ground in the Highlands. They excel in having excellent feet, legs and udders. Philip of Glengorm's pedigree is a who's-who of UK-based genetics. Philip's first calf-crop averaged a BW of 58lbs and have a lot of depth of body and muscle gain. Most of these genetics have never been publicly available in the past, and they can be found right here at Highland Genetics.Â

Quality genetics will never not be in demand. This is the kind of cross that will create long-lasting, easy-going, high quality females with a sought after pedigree for years to come.Â
